Day 2Gorilla trekking
Attend the park briefing before trekking in the forest with rangers. Trek duration and terrain vary with the gorilla family’s location.
Day 3Return to Kigali
Travel back to Kigali, with time for a city visit or onward connection when your schedule allows.
Day 4Optional golden monkey trek
Add a second forest experience with a golden monkey trek, subject to permit availability.
Day 5Departure
Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your onward journey.

Getting there
Connections and transfers
Arrive through Kigali International Airport. The drive to Volcanoes National Park takes around three hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Gorilla permits must be confirmed for your dates.
International flights can be planned separately. Share your arrival details in your enquiry and we’ll help coordinate the ground arrangements.
